Our Process

From referral to completion, our Case Managers will look at each case individually and determine the best route to completion. Whatever tests you require for your client, we will arrange to attend to their needs efficiently, discreetly, and securely.

A dedicated Case Manager will explain the details of the assessment to the client, then organise the most convenient time and location for the assessments. For many Clients, they are booked with our experienced Medical Assessors who visit the Client at their preferred location.

Quality Assure

Our Nurses and Medical Assessors return the examination results to us electronically and any pathology results are followed up with the pathology providers. The case is then checked by one of our Case Managers ensuring we have all the required documents and results requested.

Submit to Insurance Company

Once the case has passed the quality assurance, we submit the information to the Insurer electronically and securely. The case will then be closed, and you will be notified automatically via email by our online platform.

  • Can you retrieve Personal Medical Attendant Reports (PMAR) ?

    Yes, A Personal Medical Attendant Report (PMAR) is requested when more detail on a particular past illness or injury is required. We are able to organise PMARs for most Insurance Companies.

  • How do I register with Bombora Medical?

    Complete the registration form on this webpage, we will set you up securely on our platform and contact once you're ready to go.

  • I have multiple advisors in my company, can we all use the same login?

    Yes, depending on your preference or how you company is set up, we can arrange one or multiple accounts for your business.

  • Can you service remote rural locations?

    In most cases yes, over the years we have built up a network of nurses around Australia. We can’t always guarantee we have a nurse in a certain area but there’s a good chance we do.

  • Is my client’s information safe?

    Yes, we securely store the Client's results for a period of 12 months hold on to the Client’s information for a period of 3 months then all documents are erased.

  • What Insurance companies do you work with?

    Our medicals are accepted by all insurance companies including AIA Australia, Tal Life, PPS Mutual, Zurich Australia, MLC Life, Westpac Life, Neos Life, Clearview, One Path and more.

  • Is there any cost involved for me or my client?

    No, we invoice the Insurer directly for the tests they have requested. There is no cost to the client or to the adviser.

  • Can I get the results sent to me as well as the Insurance company?

    Yes, provided the Client gives us a signed consent to release results to the Adviser, we can have these sent over to yourself at the same time as the Insurer.

  • Can you send a nurse out for all requests/referrals?

    In most cases, we send out a Nurse or Medical Examiner to the client. However, depending on the request, the Client may be required to attend a Medical Clinic or Specialist Clinic.
